Tiffany D. Kinkead was first diagnosed with stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) breast cancer in 2010. After her diagnosis, Tiffany went through six rounds of chemo, a bilateral mastectomy and breast reconstruction - all while being a newlywed, as she had only been married 4 months at the time of her diagnosis. After treatment, she went on to defy the odds and had two healthy babies, and life seemed to have finally regained a sense of normalcy. Then, a few months after the birth of her second baby, Tiffany began to have symptoms of a cold or seasonal allergies, and developed a cough and wheezing. She had asthma and seasonal allergies, so none of her doctors were concerned. However, she felt as if something wasn’t right, especially when she was not getting any better. After several trips to the doctor, she was finally able to convince one of her doctors to do a chest x-ray. It showed that she had an effusion and that one of her lungs was completely full of fluid. She had a procedure to have it drained and tested, and the test results showed that her cancer had returned and had spread to her lung, spine, and liver. She is now receiving treatment for metastatic breast cancer every three weeks, in addition to taking a daily pill. This time around, Tiffany is going through treatment while being a wife and mother to two little girls. However, she is very optimistic about her diagnosis as her body is responding to treatment and she is doing well. For this, Tiffany gives gratitude to God. Tiffany is in need of medical assistance as her medical expenses are constantly growing, with no end date in sight. We solicit your donations for our MVP, Tiffany D. Kinkead, as your donation would be a much needed financial blessing for Tiffany and her family. #thisiswhywekickit #kickinitforacure #kickinitonpurposeforapurpose #kickinItforTiffany
